Annually on the two Sundays before Thanksgiving day, the Disciples of Christ encourages congregations to receive a “Thanksgiving offering”. This offering specifically supports the Colleges, Universities, Seminaries, and Divinity Houses affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Since its earliest days, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) has placed a strong emphasis on higher education—founding colleges and seminaries to nurture both knowledge and leadership. Today, that commitment continues. The Thanksgiving Offering directly supports students at our fifteen affiliated colleges and universities, along with seven seminaries and divinity houses. Your contribution helps shape future leaders who are prepared to serve and make a meaningful impact.
