Boundary training is essential for equipping leaders with the knowledge and tools to create safe and respectful environments for vulnerable populations such as children and elders. It helps prevent incidents of sexual and financial abuse by fostering accountability, awareness, and clear ethical standards. By prioritizing boundary training, organizations not only protect individuals from harm but also safeguard their own integrity and trust within the community.
The Oregon-Southwest Idaho Region offers four distinct boundary training opportunities throughout the year.
- Healthy Boundaries – Sexual Boundaries
- Child and Youth Protection
- Financial Boundaries
- Anti-Racism/Pro-Reconciliation
Every four years, clergy of the Region must complete Anti Racism/Pro-Reconciliation Training and at least two of the other healthy boundary trainings.
Check the Region calendar for upcoming boundary training opportunities.
