The Ecumenical Foundation for Development, Integration, Training, and Education (FEDICE), in Ecuador is a faith-based organization that focuses on fostering justice, peace, and sustainable development. The organization partners with indigenous and rural communities to break the cycle of poverty by supporting personal growth, advocating for social and economic transformation, generating employment opportunities, and enhancing household income.

The Oregon-Southwest Idaho Region has been partnered with FEDICE Eucador through Disciples Global Ministries for over two decades. Staff from FEDICE have visited every other year and we have sent a group from our regional church for a friendship trip on the alternate years. We have supported a wide variety of projects, providing capital funds for microloan ventures to help make communities self sustaining.
