Friends of Fedice,
We are excited to let you know we have officially hit the ripe old age of 30! Yes, 30 years of serving rural indigenous, ecumenical partners, mostly women. working in agriculture. Micro loans are currently service over 525 families, and 25 partners granting them economic stability and hope.
One of our most exciting ventures (among MANY) are the women (and one man) that run a food service in Asosergons. They make meals for several day care centers and seniors underserved in their community. These meals are nutritious, healthy and life sustaining in an economy that does not have a Social Security system.

While visiting their facility in 2023 several regional partners from Kansas City and Oregon & SW Idaho got to tour this facility. It was very impressive to see how clean and efficiently they worked. Moreover, it was fabulous to see the great team spirit and excitement they held in their hands as they served very delicious meals to us. Thanks to the work of Fedice, we were able to bring monies for expanding their kitchen!
But wait, there’s more!
Ice cream!!! The kitchen in Asosergons recently applied and received a micro loan to make ice cream. Utilizing locally resourced milk and fruit, these partners are now including a delicious desert with those fabulous meals. The added income gets spread through their community helping more than those few workers!
We hope you will consider making the trek to Ecuador in 2026 (June). Call Neil Allen (Fedice USA President) (503) 707-6689 to express your interest.
